She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herbert Marean and Alice Marie Wade Marean; her son Darren; and her brothers, Raymond and Steven Marean.
She is survived by: her daughter Holly Michelle Tillotson (Darrin) of University Place, WA; her brother David Marean (Trudy) of Fresno, CA; her daughter-in-law Erica Lynn King of Blue Springs, MO; and her grandchildren, Zoe Harper Tillotson, Kennedy Madison King, Alexa Grace King and Steven Christopher King.
Alona was a former Board Member of OEPF (Optometric Extension Program Foundation) and an OEPF Lecturer, she believed deeply and generously gave her time and expertise to advance the field of behavioral optometry.
