She was predeceased by: her parent Morgan Ford Simmons; her husband Gaylord Merrill; and her mother Zina Simmons. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Ann Looslie of Idaho Falls, ID, Kerri Jo Daniels of Idaho Falls, ID, Julie Griggs (Mike) of Idaho Falls, ID and Susan Scheer-Shanklin (Dean); and her sisters, Sue Vannoy of Logan, UT and Gaylie Swenson (Earl) of Brigham City, UT. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Wood Funeral Home & Crematory - Idaho Falls (273 N Ridge Ave, Idaho Falls, ID 83402). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wood Funeral Home (273 N Ridge Ave, Idaho Falls, ID 83402).
