We are sad to announce that, on January 15, 2026, at the age of 79, Arlene Ardella Mahaffey of Idaho Falls, Idaho, born in Salmon, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Arlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Ireland Mahaffey and Thelma Ilene Hutchinson Mahaffey. She is survived by: her daughters, Camille Sayer (Brooks Montgomery) of Salmon, ID and Carol Ann Bruggenkamp of Salmon, ID; her siblings, Sharon Wilson (Bob) of Burley, ID and Larry Mahaffey (Barbara) of Boise, ID; her grandchild Emilee Jones (Patrick Barkwell) of Scottsdale, AZ; her stepgrandchild Lindsay Klein (Mike); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Mikaela and Charlie.
