He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Edgar McAlevy and Emma Clove McAlevy; his children, Kristy and Shawn; his siblings, Jessie Jane, Neva Jean and Lewis Jr.; and his granddaughter Lindsay.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McAlevy of Idaho Falls; his children, Allen (Becky), Angela, Brandy (Shane) and Charity; and his brother Marlin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
