She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Marvin Bateman and Grace Mae Bateman; her sisters, Loretta Ruth Bateman, Shirley Ann Bateman, Gracie Florine Bateman and Joelmae Crews; and her son Richard Otto Borgstrom, Jr..

She is survived by: her siblings, Grace and Marvin Bateman; her husband Richard Borgstrom; her children, Barb DeLong (Harry), Randal Keith Borgstom of Casselberry, FL, John Scott Borgstrom (Valerie) of Stillwater, OK and Ruth Elaine Baldwin of Fort Pierce, FL; and her brother James Dale Bateman (Judy).
