He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bird and Shirley Bird. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bird; his former wife Eileen Adkins; and his siblings, Betty McKay (Darwin), Jere Harris (Neil), Kim Bird (Carla), Layne Bird (Brenda), Ron Bird (Denise), Jana Tarbet (Sean) and Alan Bird (Jodie).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Coltrin Mortuary (2100 1st St, Idaho Falls, ID 83401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Milo Ward Chapel. A burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Milo Cemetery (8020 E 129 N, Idaho Falls, ID 83401).
