As Bud departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bud may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bud leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Payne and Narlene Simons Payne; his sister Kathryn Heck; his son-in-law Todd Shirley; and his pets, Suzie and Gracie.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Payne of Idaho Falls, ID; his children, Bobby D. Payne of St. Anthony, ID, Trina LeAnn Shirley of Idaho Falls, ID and Lesa Kay Parker (Jade) of St. Anthony, ID; his sisters, Judy Payne of Idaho Falls, ID, Patty Vincent of Mesa, AZ and Vicki Jarman (Gene) of Iona, ID; and his pet Misty. He is also survived by brothers and sisters; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
