He was predeceased by: his precious baby girl Jacelynn; his father Hal Bateman; his father-in-law Bruce Richards; his brothers-in-law, Bobby Stewart and Jeremy Richards; and his grandparents, Boyd and Meldeane Whitmill.
He is survived by: his mother Theresa Joy Bateman; his wife Jessica Bateman of Idaho Falls, ID; his children, Gage Bateman (Dani), Novalie Bateman and Huxley Bateman; his siblings, Aaron Bateman (Lisa), Trisha Stewart (late Bobby) and Les Bateman (Breanne); his mother-in-law Coy Richards; and his sister-in-law Jennifer Richards. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
