She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Szteina. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Humphreys Szteina; her husband Kris Smith; her children, Kristal Green (Brett), Jessica Knight (Chad) and Braden Smith (Malissa); and her grandchildren, Jake, Kristian, Colby, Jaycee, Kalob, Gracie, Ethan, Kaydee and Tyler. She is also survived by her four siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Connie's name to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation for Ovarian Cancer research.
