He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Hansen and Mary Staples Hansen; his siblings, LaVerl, Myron, Wilmer and Delma Mickelsen; his daughter Darla; his son-in-law Hank Kindel; and his grandson Eric Moon.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hansen of Ammon, ID; and his children, Brenda Moon (Tim) of Shelley, ID, Rick Hansen (Darla) of Chubbuck, ID and Cindy Gorgos (Frank). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
