He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Wylie Snarr and Virginia C. Snarr; his wife Carol Lee Thompson; and his siblings, Richard, Robert, Joe, Steve, Kathy Fontes and Faye Garcia.

He is survived by: his children, Troy Snarr and Jennifer Campbell (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Jeremy Campbell (Amanda) and Alicia Truster (Tony); his great grandchildren, Kinlee and Silas; and his brother Paul Snarr (Shelley).
