He is survived by: his wife Edith Powell of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his children, Danette Mullen (Tom) of Concord, California, Kendall Powell of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jody Hansen (Tyler) of Rigby, Idaho and Kim Sion (Jed) of Pocatello, Idaho; and his siblings, Shirley Lewis of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Leon Powell (Phyllis) of Moore and Lavar Powell (Rebecca) of Rexburg, Idaho. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James Raymond and Agnes Pearl Powell; his brothers: Rulon Powell, Wendell Powell, Gerald Powell, Seth Powell, and Thon Powell; and his sisters: Verla Powell, Eloise Muir, Evelyn Parkinson, Phyllis Dreiling.
