He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Franklin Hudson and Dora Etta Hughes; his son Donnie Ray Jr.; and his granddaughter Daysha Garner. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Will Bell; and his daughter Donna Garner (Rick). He is also survived by two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
