He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: John Harris Burtenshaw and Lottie Marie Ball Burtenshaw (also referred to as Harris and Lottie Burthenshaw); wife: Enid Faye Burtenshaw; daughters: Julie (Dan) Hammon, Paula (Matthew) Light, Ann Lyman, and Becky (Kirk) Buer; son: Jesse Burtenshaw; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
