He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Fredrick Oswald and Lucille Andrus Oswald; his wife Carol McLean; his daughter Kim Oswald; his siblings, Delmont Oswald and Phyllis Seyfert; and his great grandchild Logan Zachary Oswald.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Oswald (Anne) of Lehi, Lyndon Oswald of Idaho Falls, Darin Oswald of Boise, Idaho and Jennifer Kerner (Drew) of Shelley, Idaho.. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Coltrin Mortuary (2100 1st St, Idaho Falls, ID 83401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kearney LDS Church (1860 Kearney St, Idaho Falls, ID 83401). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the In the Valley View Cemetery.
