He is survived by: his fiancée Lorraine Porter of Idaho Falls, ID; his father David Bruce Gunkel of Idaho Falls, ID; his brother David Gunkel Jr. (Jane) of Oklahoma; and his stepchildren, Dana Porter (Tasha) of Idaho Falls, ID, Cody Porter (Christina) of Texas and Tawnny Fawcett (Nathan) of Montana.
