With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eda Alta Nelson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fontella Thompson and Osman William Gates. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Haumann (Don), Nancy Frederiksen (Dellas), Brenda Rivera (Troy) and Kerry Nelson; and her grandchildren, Alisa, Brett, Andi, Stacia, Nathan, Jason, Kyle, Kevin and Tanner. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
