She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Cardana and Ailene Ahlberg Cardana; her son Tracy Franklin; and her siblings, Sylvia Lessard and David Cardana.

She is survived by : her former life partner Jim Franklin; her husband James Snyder; her daughters, Debbie Smylie (Gary) of Idaho Falls, ID and Diana Franklin (Lonnie Wilson) of Columbus, GA; her close friend Jim Franklin of Idaho Falls, ID; and her brother Henry Cardana of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
