Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elmo Reese Winterbottom (Idaho Falls, Idaho), who passed away at the age of 85, on September 25, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Winterbottom and Ida Winterbottom; his wife Emy Lou Winn; his stepson Jeff Foster; and his siblings, Nancy Rae Winterbottom, Peggy Jorgenson, Abe, Mike and Barry Winterbottom.
He is survived by: his children, Kyle (Pam), Nancy, Bryce (Emily) and Matthew (Celeste); his stepson Randy Foster; his sister Judy Christiansen; and his caregivers, Heather and Shiela. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Coltrin Mortuary (2100 1st St, Idaho Falls, ID 83401). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Reese's name can be made to any one of the many area animal shelters or humane societies.
