He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Smith and Lovina Shurtliff Smith; his wife Elma Jean Smith; and his daughter Lynnette Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jana Hansen (Ron) of Ammon, Robert Smith (Lisa) of North Ogden, Susan Anderson (Gordon) of Rigby, Rodney Smith (Kristine) of Kuna, Lori Broach (David) of Eagle Mountain, Melanie Youngquist (Sean) of Idaho Falls and Michelle Smith of Ammon, Idaho. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
