As we bid Greg farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Greg is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Nathaniel Norrell and Mildred Garner Norrell; his stepmother Anne Mackey Norrell; his brother Stephen Michael Norrell; and his father-in-law Frank Murdock.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie Murdock Norrell of Fred's Mountain; his children, Catherine Brandon (Lee) and Michael Norrell (Maritza); his brothers, David Norrell (Chloe) and Patrick Norrell (Irina); and his mother-in-law Connie Murdock.
In 1992, he moved to Idaho Falls to work for the Idaho National Laboratory where he was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his significant contribution to the large-scale aquifer pumping and infiltration test, a testament to his scientific dedication.
