He is survived by: his children, Teresa Dumont, Jill Murphy, Cindy Foster (Wade), Michael Merkley (Miguel Vicente), Mark Merkley (Pam) and Ryan Merkley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, with 2 on the way, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
