He was predeceased by: his parents, Flo Carson and John Sr. Carson; and his brothers, John Carson Jr. and Nathaniel Doyle Carson. He is survived by: his wife Jayne; his siblings, Gene Carson (Pat) of Tracy, California and Shirley Locke (Mike) of Lodi, California; his son Jim Jr. Carson (Cindy) of Idaho Falls; and his grandchildren, Jodi Steinlage (Wade) of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Janna Eveland (Tony) of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jade Carson of Idaho Falls and Jerie Despain (Chris) of Point Baker, Alaska. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
