It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janace C. Pershing of Idaho Falls, Idaho, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Merrit Crofts and Eva Larson Crofts; her husbands, Darwin Dutson and Elbert Harrison Pershing; her adoptive parents, Ancel Haroldsen (Eliza Anderson Haroldsen) and Eliza Haroldsen; her siblings, Opal Crofts, Gwen Crofts, Max Crofts, Darlene Crofts, Bernard Crofts, Dale Crofts, Nadine Crofts, Bonnie Crofts, Ron Crofts and Don Crofts; and her stepsiblings, Leanna Morris and James Haroldsen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Doreen Dutson of Ririe, ID and Teresa Waters (Keith) of Idaho Falls, ID; her sister Joyce Novosad of Blackfoot, ID; and her stepbrothers, Melven Haroldsen (Marsha) and Devar Haroldsen (Sharon). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Wood Funeral Home (273 N Ridge Ave, Idaho Falls, ID 83402). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery (12463 E 129 N, Rigby, ID 83443).
