He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Nile Baird (Ted) and Carol Ann King Baird; his son Andrew John Baird (A. J.); his nephew Rye Burch; his brothers, Roye and Arthur "Nile" Baird; and his brother-in-law Bill Orchard.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Orchard Baird; his children, Tasja Jackson (Anthony) of Ammon, Idaho, Zachary Baird (Rebekah) of Watford City, Rylee Baird (McKenzy) of Idaho Falls and Connor Baird (Alina Marthis) of Lewiston, Idaho.; and his grandchildren, Madicyn, Traydyn, Kaceyn, Quintyn, Spencer, Nolyn, Lawsyn, Emma, Lillianna, Delilah and Ronan.

John Keith Baird was joyfully reunited with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia.
