We announce the death of Kaylene Huffman of Idaho Falls, Idaho, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 63. Kaylene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Kaylene will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Kaylene’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her mother Yvonne Wright; her brothers, Kevin Harding and Willis Kim Harding; her nephew Kameron Harding; and her sister-in-law Shelly Castle.
She is survived by: her father Rex Prophet; her husband David Huffman, Sr. of Idaho Falls, ID; her sons, Kevin Kory Huffman (Ashley) of Elko, NV, Shawn Huffman (Tasha) of Clearfield, UT and David Huffman, Jr. (Mary) of Midland, SD; and her siblings, Kristene Taylor of Shelley, ID, Korene Gonzales (Richard) of Idaho Falls, ID and Kent Harding (Penny) of Idaho Falls, ID. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S Ammon Rd, Ammon, ID 83406).
