He is survived by: his parents, Michael John Welch and Faye Beck Welch of Aberdeen, ID; his former wife Martha Paulette Hensley; his daughters, Shaylyn Leslie (Matthew) of Idaho Falls, ID, Makayla Welch of Idaho Falls, ID and Addison Welch of Idaho Falls, ID; his brothers, Michael Troy Welch of Pocatello, ID and Ellis Jay Welch of Aberdeen, ID; and his grandchild Ayson Leslie.
