He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Stavast and Doreen Jessie Walkden Stavast; and his stepdaughter Susan Kelly Howell. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Stavast of Idaho Falls; his stepson Chris Howell of Orem, Utah; his children, Amy Petersen (Blake) of Idaho Falls and John Stavast (Samantha) of American Fork, Utah; and his siblings, Jim Stavast (Janet) of Orem, Lyle Stavast of Saratoga Springs, Utah and Barbara Green (Dave) of Springfield, Idaho. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
