He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Aaron Birch and Marie Burt Birch; his granddaughter Olivia Johnson; his niece Lacie Birch; his parents-in-law, James Wilson and Evelyn Wilson; his brother-in-law Brent Hickman; and his nephew Dustin Birch.

He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Birch of Idaho Falls, ID; his daughters, Brooke Fung Fai Birch (Lee Trautt) of Long Beach, CA and Traci Johnson (Jake) of Shelley, ID; his grandchildren, Taylor Anson of Long Beach, CA and Ryker Johnson of Shelley, ID; and his siblings, Paul Birch (Debbi) of Saint Anthony, ID, Todd Birch (Traci) of Idaho Falls, ID, Cheryl Guymon (Layne) of Rigby, ID and Jared Birch (Brooke) of Idaho Falls, ID..
