He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon James Shaw and Helen Marie Petty Shaw; his sister Violet Jacobson; his stepsister Joann Jensen; and his stepson Weston Jeffries.
He is survived by: his wife Polly Shaw of Idaho Falls; his children, Shiree Hanson (Lyle) of Idaho Falls, Sharron Riddersen (Mark) of Eagle, ID, Robin Matzek (Michael) of Scottsdale, AZ, Susanne Johnson (Delbert) of Emmett, ID, Amy Meacham (Nick) of Idaho Falls and James Shaw of Idaho Falls; his stepson Conrad Jeffries (Chelsie) of Boise, ID; his siblings, Dennis Shaw of Idaho Falls and Kathleen "Susie" Lance of Post Falls, ID; and his stepbrother John Arbuckle (Joyce) of Pocatello, ID. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
