He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Axel Carlson and Lillian Smith Carlson; and his siblings, Jeanne Higgins and Dick Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughters, Cammie Searle (Brian) of Idaho Falls, ID and Cindy Carson (Jim) of Idaho Falls, ID; his brother Don Carlson of Sandy, UT; and his grandchildren, Jodi Steinlage (Wade), Janna Eveland (Tony), Britnee Hunter (Keegan), Benjamin Searle (Linzy), Jade Carson, Bethany Casteel (Michael) and Jerie Despain (Chris). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
