He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Chapple and Nellie Cleverly Chapple; his wife Allonna Gneiting; his granddaughter Kaylee; and his siblings, Donna Landon, Beth Smout, Jay, Bob, Rex, Ronnie and Russell Chapple.
He is survived by: his children, Evy Jo Gilstrap (Pete), Rone Bateman (Curtis), Kathy Tawzer (Troy) and L. Jake Chapple (Kristy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
