He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Pettingill and Viola Johnson Pettingill; his sister Glenda Taylor; and his significant other Marge Foster. He is survived by: his children, David Pettingill (Janae) of Ashton, ID, Marty Pettingill (Donna) of Idaho Falls, ID, Jeffrey Pettingill (ReBekah) of Ucon, ID and Michelle Pettingill (Karen Trock) of Boise, ID; and his siblings, James Pettingill (Marilyn) of Boise, ID, Kathy Garey of Boise, ID and Kaye Pettingill of Portland, OR. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
