He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Lloyd Godfrey and Ruth Garnetta Humphries Godfrey; and his former wife Lyla Marr Ferguson Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Lori Godfrey; his sisters, Carol Ostermiller and Sherry Lott; his children, Kelly, Daniel (Laurie Hossner), Matthew (Pam Godfrey) and Kristin (David Nielsen); his stepchildren, Jennifer Leardi, Farrell Hunt (Morgan), Jay Eaton (Angel) and Marilee Hunt; his grandchildren, Kylie, Kamryn, Colton, Miguel Godfrey, Cole Wharton, Kelsie Wetzel (Colton), Logan Godfrey (Logan Miley), Karlie Woolstenhulme (Hayden), Chloe, Zach Nielsen, Eryn Holverson (Brady), Mariella, Victoria, Gabriel, Farrell Leardi, Radford, Olive, Rigbe, Rossilyn, Elliot Hunt, Kenidee, Max, Andie and Ben Eaton; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Wetzel, Corbin Landon, Lainee Woolstenhulme and Evelyn Wetzel. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
