He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Edward Groth and Helen Pembroke Groth; his wife Jill Groth; his daughter Amy Groth; and his brother Richard Groth.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Groth (Denise) of Victor and Sean Groth (Brett) of Bozeman, Montana; and his brothers, Terry Groth (Sue) of Boise and Ray Groth (Diedra) of Sandy, Utah. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
