She is survived by: her parents, Gary Owen Cheney and Sherrie Ann Perkins Cheney (Perkins); her husband Gerald Hunter Nelson; her daughter Audrey Amanda Nelson; and her siblings, Dustin Cheney (Erika Grimnes), Douglas Cheney (Marianne Meline) and Amanda Cheney Cardwell (Scott).
