He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Ann (Mackenzie) and George Henry Rice; his brothers, William and Wesley Rice; his son Michael Kris Rice; the parent of his child Jessie Ann Rice Krater; and his grandson Jake Douglas Milligan.
He is survived by: his wife Dorene Alice Jolley Hart; his daughters, Kerry Lynn Milligan (Doug) of Boise, ID and Andrea Dee Ottersberg (Doug) of Twin Falls, ID; and his grandchildren, Natalie (Tyler), Kristen (Eric), Rochelle (Matt), Janelle (Jerod), Brandon, Skylar (Shelby), Kaden (Tayler), Carly and Kami. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
