Raymond Holmer Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Raymond Holmer (Idaho Falls, Idaho), whose life came to an end on September 18, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. "Pat" Holmer and Lois M. Holmer (Becker); his wife Madge M. Holmer; his brother Robert; his son-in-law Tom; and his grandson TJ Mosbrucker.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond C. "Chuck" Holmer (Debarah) of New Windsor, MD, Cindy S. Wilde (Paul) of Idaho Falls, Holly M. Barnhart (Dean) of Everett, WA, Brenda J. "BJ" Mosbrucker of Idaho Falls and Margret M. Reeb (Dennis) of Idaho Falls; his sister Luann Hanson (Forrest) of Idaho Falls; and his grandchildren, Daniel Holmer, Abbie Fogle (Glenn), Jeremy Wilde (Brittany), Amy Anderson (Mikkel), Alex Wilde, Sean Barnhart, Kalie Trotter (David), Andrew Barnhart, Dani Mosbrucker, Maddy Reeb and Matt Reeb. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buck-Murphey Funeral Home (825 E 17th St, Idaho Falls, ID 83404). A Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (1690 E 17th St, Idaho Falls, ID 83404). A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Snake River Canyon National Cemetery (1585 E Elm St, Buhl, ID 83316).
