He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovid Brookshier and Minnie Brookshier; his wife Anna Ruth; and his siblings, Taylor, Donald, Ralph and Selma June.
He is survived by: his son Alan Brookshier (Peggy); his grandson Mark Brookshier; and his brother Randol Brookshier. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
