Rieth; his stepchildren, Marlon Joey Armstrong, Stephanie Penny Armstrong, Malcolm Scott Armstrong and Richard Michael Armstrong; his brother Kenneth; his sister-in-law Judy Rieth; and his sisters, Gloria (Gerry Gibeault), Rosalie (Richard Lee) and Mary Donnafield. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
