It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Carlson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, born in Rexburg, Idaho, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E Carlson and Althery Bright Carlson; his former wives, Colleen Beddes and Colleen Carlson; his siblings, Russell Carlson, Neldon Carlson, Reed Carlson, Grant Carlson, Ruth Hansen and Ina Reyburn; his children, Susan Johnson and Bruce Beddes; and his grandson Brian Beddes.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beddes Carlson of Idaho Falls, ID; his children, Sidney Joe Carlson (Gaylene) of Goshen, ID, Linda Perrenoud (Scott) of Plano, ID, Christine Grover (Karl) of Shelley, ID, Vernon "Ted" Carlson (Kim) of Idaho Falls, ID, Glenda Lee "Brig" Gray (Todd) of Heber, UT and Lee Beddes (Mike McFarland); and his sister Zola Rigby (Gene) of Parker, ID. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
