He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha E. Baker and John D. Baker of Burton; his wife Alice; his brothers, Owen John, Ray Earl, Charles Harvey and Vance Armand; and his grandmothers, Evelyn Alice and Gwen Genelle.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Louise (Ellefson), Jean Elizabeth (Maiorella) and Richard Owen Baker; his grandchildren, Lacie, Kira, Cort Ellefson, Alexander, Anthony and Arthur Maiorella; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Wyatt, Abby, Claire Evans, Sophia and Travis Ellefson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He worked several plots in the Idaho Falls Westside Community Garden where most of the produce is donated to local charities.
