She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl W. Asper and Hazel "Peggy" Asper; her son John; and her sister Joyce Clifford (Ray). She is survived by: her husband John A. James; and her children, Daniel James (Kristi), Michael James (Maureen), Timothy James and JoAnna Almgren (David). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
