He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Abbott of Iona, ID; his children, Melisa Vallez (Roy), Nichole Marie Hess (Patrick), Krista Michelle Pennock (Jeremy) and Jaum Greenburg; his brothers, Steven Abbott (Joyce), Greg Abbott and Ross Abbott; and his grandchildren, Jacob Alden Greenburg, Keara Alea Greenburg, Lily Ann Greenburg, Thomas Wayne Hess, Alden Patrick Hess, Jonathan Daniel Pennock and Taylor Warren Hess.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Yellowstone DAV Chapter 6.
