With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Wheeler of Iona, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wheeler and Doris Wheeler (Fletcher). He is survived by : his wife Virginia "Aunt Cookie" Wheeler; his siblings-in-law, Veronica Holverson (Todd), Virlynnia Quesenberry (David) and Michael Flynn; his stepdaughter Susan Lektorich (Duffy); his stepgrandsons, Dylan and Rowan; and his nieces and nephews, Kurt McCorkle (Kim), Angela Lewis (Ron), Chuckie Baldwin (Nora), La Donna McCollum, Christopher Baldwin (Frannie), La Randa Meyer, Jessica Whisenhunt (CJ) and Tayler Chalupa.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery (2651 Cromwell Ln, Blackfoot, ID 83221).
