He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddy Phillips and Betty Phillips; and his brother-in-law Lenny Meyers. He is survived by: his wife Sally VanOrman; his children, Todd (Bobbi) of Vineyard, Tara Rausch (Jeremy) of Meridian and Tonya Haustveit (Jared) of Meridian, Idaho; and his siblings, Beverly Meyers of Jerome and Vern Phillips (Karen) of Boise. He is also survived by "Papa" to his 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
As his Parkinson's progressed, Clancy returned to the basketball gym, only this time as a spectator—watching his son, Todd, coach his college basketball teams, or his grandsons play for their AAU or school teams.
