In bidding Gilbert adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Gilbert once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors he painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while he may have departed from this earthly realm, his spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy S. Anderson and Velma R. Anderson; and his sister Doris. He is survived by : his sons, Eric C. of Jerome and Doug E. of Nampa, Idaho.; and his wife Wilma J. Cole of Shoshone. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rosenau Funeral Home & Crematory (2826 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls, ID 83301). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jerome Cemetery W (W 600 S, Jerome, ID 83338).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Idaho Conservation League.
