We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2025, at the age of 83, Janet Tompkins of Jerome, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Janet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Janet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her son Kevin James. She is survived by: her husband Bill Tompkins; and her children, Rick James of Marshfield, Randy James of Wellman, Iowa and Lillie Hines of New Hampton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
