She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Neddermeir Sonnichsen and Mathias Sonnichsen; and her daughter Julia. She is survived by: her children, Jack Nelsen (Emily), Jon (Karen) and Janice Lehman (Ken); her siblings-in-law, Norma Stone (Mike) of Reno, NV and Dr. Theron Nelsen (Darlene) of Liberty Lake, WA.; her grandchildren, Logan (Amanda), Cade (Katie), Annaslise, Chris, Greg, Matt Nelsen, Joanie and John Lehman; and her great grandchildren, Klaire, Beck, Amelia and Ellis.
