He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Higgins and Leona Higgins; and his grandson Gabriel Aragon. He is survived by: his wife Lela Higgins; his daughter Anna McConnell (TJ); and his stepchildren, Shauna Martinez (Juan), Sheila Hays, Sandra Reynoso (Enrique), Sherrie Winterholler (Boyd), Greg Greene (Katrina), Melody Greene and Trisha Castillo (Alejandro). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
